Random-Access Memory Maps for Two (25.02.2025)
the definitions of new words. in my teens i learned many codes and used to communicate with two during road trips by tapping the dash. he’d laugh and tap back, or hide his ears after squawking fuel levels for touchdowns. i always had the map and i would pass it back, a rand mcnally road atlas. tapping out letters and numbers to find squares for landings and monuments to craters of a moon and desert escapades for geology. you guarded five in capsules, flying guilty in abandon. we spoke semaphore, we spoke pig latin, we spoke morse, but whispered in backward alphabets. (zyxwvu) (tsrq) (ponmlkj) (ihgfedcba) code helped map libraries, sorting returns. i guarded reports and saved the moon from ending up trashed, a mapped waste of space. but i believe in crater charts and definitions of new worlds.

AHAHAHAHA So I reblogged a Final Fantasy VIII post this morning on which I remarked I'd forgotten the name of Rinoa's dog.
I could've looked it up in five seconds. But I didn't. And my poor muddled synapses finally came through.
I just awoke from a fibromyalgia nap with the distinct thought: "Oh, RIGHT! The dog's name is angelo MIGELO!"

Document 1A - Foreword
The story here is finished. It was told in another world, another time, another place, far-flung from here, His ending left unknown to his friends, his loved ones, his partner. One day, he was here, the next, he was gone. That story was told a long, long time ago. But perhaps a new one can be made here. A story of a man, bent and broken into a useful tool. A leader, better than any before him, who in his organization's time of need, stepped up. To the cost of himself, to the detriment of others. Perhaps, on that fateful day when the Atomic Collider felt, the Order was not broken, not completely- but changed. Reforged, into something new. Perhaps, for years now, someone has been picking up the scraps and putting them back together. What was assumed to be the complete and utter annihilation of the Zero Point was not a stopping point in this collection. It was merely fuel to fan the fire of vengeance. And now, in the year 20X4, the finding of a Zero Point fragment, even a small piece of it — was a thrill. Closer, ever still, to his goal.

Another silly doodle featuring Kori. It seems there's been a misunderstanding that is rather suited to her track record!
#also i drew her in maruns first book outfit bc i havent drawn that outfit in well over a year despite really liking it#kori never gets a break from my silly doodles. dont tell her but i actually enrolled in computer systems and networking to have more#material to make jokes at her expense.#drawing#artists on tumblr#drawings#manga#anime#artist#mangaka#original character#rkgk#kori omoide#random access memory#ram#original character art#original characters#oc artist#myrios series#poisoners city#poisoned memories#poison world

How Much RAM is Good for Gaming?
Introduction to RAM and Its Role in Gaming Random Access Memory, commonly referred to as RAM, is a critical component in computing systems, serving as the temporary storage space for data that the CPU needs to access quickly. This high-speed memory is essential for executing tasks efficiently, as it allows for the rapid retrieval of information, significantly impacting the overall performance of…

Oleander (30.05.2025)
Tod, du bist in Sieg verschlungen, und das Leben ist errungen. (Hymnal, 782) (I asked to care for your garden when you’re gone!)
are you still here in fine bubbles and beef (1) in gasoline when mowing garden weeds (2) when walking my dog to forest streams (3) in crunching the car’s gears five to three? (4) a chair at a table’s head empty next to me. (5)
you laughed it off, my wanting to rot, but we’re farther from your truth now. you ascend, they only celebrate mass once. your brother sat eating the cracker in silence, weeks after he spoke of your inevitable victory.
(1) You bothered yourself about the quality of supermarket meat, but your trips to the butcher for steers with a good life resulted in a quantity that your meager appetite couldn’t manage. So you made stews and steaks and refused to freeze anything and often rang the bell asking me to carry your plates upstairs for you. Towards the end you’d rush out in the rain in a bathrobe that hung large off odd new shoulders, weak fingers shaking water off the tin foil, your hair soaking wet. You refused to come in even if I offered you a flute of your favorite bottle that chilled for months in the fridge. It used to be enough for you to climb the steps, but I left the food on the first of them and walked you across the street under one of my grandmother’s umbrellas.
(2) Last year you couldn’t mow the lawn and asked me to swing by once a week if it hadn’t rained. You stored the gas canister in the garage and the walls stunk of it. Though the therapy stripped you of your smell you still felt the gas sting your throat. The exhaust stung mine when I passed laps along the grass. I now know the most efficient way to walk these lines in your backyard. You reminded me that I was an American and that I could go home, but who could mow better than someone like me who was raised barefoot on bluegrass. I wasn’t happy and you knew I didn’t feel at home anywhere anymore. So you popped outside grabbing my attention while I played her music in meditative passes, pausing to empty the chop behind a tree in the garden and you jokingly scolded me for the seeds of the weeds and took pride in my trying to forget. An hour one week became twenty minutes weeks later, and each time I had a kleine Rasenstück to be proud of, one thing in my life I could trim away and enjoy leaving behind.
(3) Arm in arm, the dog kept looking back as if to ask what was taking this trio so long. You couldn’t smell the forest and wouldn’t be able to taste any of the mushrooms if I found them, but you kept your eyes open and closed your ears to her talk of medications. You were another woman in my life who refused photos. We passed the Sauerbrunnen and you got upset when your feet had trouble carrying you any further. So we kept to the level path and led you breathless back to the car.
(4) God, you were a terrible driver. But I crunch the gears too.
(5) I hate the taste and choked on the fizz but did so in your name, breaking it with bread and walking away from the table to lay in the cold counting satellites like I did for another death. Praying in my own way. I only saw your dust for a few seconds but I’ve seen you before on your houseplants, I saw your container, and I know you made your trip home. Before he left, your brother asked me to identify the problem with your oleander, which was sick and dying in the garage. I cannot do anything for it now. It’s a loss.

My phone has 4gb of ram (and runs fine for now) but my computer has 64gb ... though only because I'm an idiot.
I wanted 32gb of ram, two 16gb sticks for dual channel, but I accidentally ordered a 32gb stick but I still wanted dual channel so I just ordered another 32gb stick.

Major Difference Between RAM and ROM
The major differences between RAM (Random Access Memory) and ROM (Read-Only Memory): Functionality: RAM (Random Access Memory): Temporary storage that holds data currently being used by the CPU (Central Processing Unit) and programs. Think of it as your device’s short-term memory. ROM (Read-Only Memory): Permanent storage that contains pre-programmed instructions essential for the device to…
